Nordregio is a flat organisation. We work in project teams that are made up of a mix of senior researchers, junior researchers and specialists.
Senior Research Fellow
The position of Senior Research Fellow requires a doctoral qualification/PhD-degree (480 ECTS), or other formal qualifications of equivalent accreditation and standing. A Senior Research Fellow is expected to have relevant post-doc experience in research and practice. At least five years of involvement with project applications and documented experience as project leader is expected. A Senior Research Fellow should also be able to function as a mentor and supervisor for less experienced colleagues.
Research Fellow
The position of Research Fellow requires a bachelor- or master’s degree (300 ECTS) or equivalent. A Research Fellow is expected to have at least two years of relevant experience in research and practice after graduation. Experience in project management is also expected.
Junior Research Fellow
The position as Junior Research Fellow requires a bachelor- or master’s degree (300 ECTS) or equivalent. A Junior Research Fellow is expected to have up to two years of relevant experience in research and practice after graduation. After one or two years of employment at Nordregio, you will create an individual development plan and be assigned a mentor to assist with your professional growth.
Specialist
The position as specialist requires a bachelor- or master’s degree (300 ECTS) or training in a technical branch. A specialist is expected to have special skills within a technical field for which there is a great demand at Nordregio, including GIS or statistics.
