About the Nordic Statistics Database

The Nordic Statistics Database is a collection of comparative data on key societal trends across the Nordic Region. Managed by Nordregio under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers, the database compiles data from national statistical institutes (NSIs), the Nordic Health and Welfare Statistics database, other Nordic data providers, and international sources including Eurostat, OECD, and the UN.

Building on expertise in regional data, statistics and research, Nordregio has the role of counselling, communicating, and developing activities around the Nordic Statistics Database in close cooperation with national statistical agencies, Statisticon and the Nordic Council of Ministers.

The database is updated regularly to provide easy access to the latest available data across key policy areas. The next update is scheduled for the end of October 2025.
