Meet Leneisja Jungsberg, Senior Research Fellow
Originally from Denmark, Leneisja has lived and worked in Sweden for over 10 years. She is specialised in regional development and sustainability transitions and her focus at Nordregio has mainly been on arctic issues. Since Nordregio is a project based organisation, she has also been able to shift her focus to other issues and areas of research.
Over 60 people work at Nordregio, situated on the island of Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. We are from all over the Nordic Region, the Baltics and beyond.
Meet Bart Willemsen, Project & Financial Controller
Bart has been working at Nordregio since 2023 and lived in Sweden for 10 years, where he moved to from the Netherlands. He highlights the opportunities for personal and skill development as one of the best things about working at Nordregio. Bart’s daily work involves meetings with project managers throughout the research process. Whether it is applying for research grants or in ongoing research projects, Bart supports with financial reporting and budget issues.
