Spatial Story

I grew up in Husum outside Örnsköldsvik and later moved to Karlholmsbruk in Uppland, which early on gave me experience in adapting to new environments. After completing compulsory school, I took a gap year and worked in preschool, followed by upper secondary studies in the Child and Youth Programme.

Alongside my studies, I gained work experience in the service sector, including roles in cafés, retail, and camping operations. After moving to Stockholm in 1997, I trained as a business and economics assistant through adult education at Komvux in Tumba. After completing the Programme, I started working at Nordregio where I continue to contribute with extensive administrative and economic experience.

I have been working here since 1999, and I am the longest-serving employee in the office.
