Spatial Story

I was born and raised in Stockholm, but my roots reach further north to Västerbotten, and the small village of Rusksele by the Vindel River. It’s a place of calm waters, vast forests, and a quiet that has always stayed with me. The house I have there was built by my grandfather, and taking care of it today feels like keeping a small piece of family history alive.

I trained as an IT teacher, but my path soon led me away from the classroom and into the technical world. I started out as a technician, and over time my role grew to include more responsibility and development. Today, I have overall responsibility for IT at Nordregio where I enjoy the combination of technology and people – being able to develop IT systems while working closely with users.
