On 6-7 November, Nordregio’s Senior Researcher Timothy Heleniak will be attend a seminar in the city of Naryan-Mar, in Russia.
The focus of the conference will be on possible forecasts and means of developing Russian Arctic regions, with Timothy Heleniak giving a presentation on the demographic issues in the Arctics.
The seminar is a joint initiative between the Russian State Hydrometeorological University and the ArcticCenter of the University of Northern Iowa, USA.
