How can resilience and a sense of security be strengthened in Latvia’s border communities?
On 10 July at the LAMPA Festival, Nordregio’s Nicklas Guldåker will moderate a discussion on crisis preparedness, public engagement and trust, focusing on border regions.
The conversation will bring together local volunteers and civil protection experts, as well as a member of the Finnish Parliament who is also serving this year as President of the Nordic Council. The discussion will explore how spontaneous help in times of crisis can develop into long-term civic engagement and community resilience.
The event will be live-streamed and held in English, with Latvian translation provided.
