Welcome to the Nordic Kick-off Event towards COP30: Ambition, Alliances and Action! The Nordic region has a long tradition of working together on climate and sustainability.
As the world prepares for COP30 in Belém, Brazil, this event will provide an opportunity to reflect on where we stand, share perspectives on key challenges, and discuss how the Nordic countries together, and with international partners, can contribute to constructive outcomes of the global climate negotiations.
Ministers, policymakers, academia, business and civil society will take stock of where we stand, discuss the Nordic priorities for COP30, and explore how we can engage in constructive alliances for ambitious outcomes in November. This is an exclusive event for invited guests only, but we are opening it up for online attendance to the general public! Register today to receive a link to stream the event live from the Nordregio office on Skeppsholmen. Please note, that it will not be possible to ask questions to the Nordic Climate Ministers when participating online.
