Nordregio will participate in the “Nordic Paths to Sustainable Integration” conference, organised by The Nordic Council of Ministers. The event will take place on the 18 and 19 of November, in Vedbæk, Denmark.
Paula Lehtomäki, The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Secretary-General, will open the conference with a speech, welcoming participants on behalf of the Council. Among the topics that will be discussed and analysed throughout the conference are ways of creating the right conditions for integration, and what do immigrants themselves think, the importance of education, competence building and co-creation with civil society and minorities, as well as inclusion in the labour market.
