Map Facts
This map shows the number of persons aged 25-64 with tertiary education as a share of the total population in that same age group. Higher education opportunities in the BSR are, as elsewhere, concentrated in two types of places: 1) major metropolitan areas where the simple mass of population entails a supply of education services; and 2) the traditional “university town”. When examining the educational structure of the population in the BSR, both types of place are clearly discernible.
