The future advancements of bioeconomy in Lithuania is the focus of a conference taking place on 14 February, where Karen Refsgaard, Research Director at Nordregio, will give a talk about bioeconomy development in areas of the Nordic countries, emphasizing good practice examples.
Among other related issues, the speakers will discuss about EU bioeconomy strategies, food manufacturing and strategies, biotechnology and will attempt to trace possible local-level synergies between regions of Lithuania.
The conference is organized by Vytautas’ Magnus University’s Agricultural Academy, together with the Faculty of Bioeconomic Development.
