This map shows the “NUTS 2” level regions in the Nordic countries, according to the pan-European classification system Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS).
Among the Nordic countries, Denmark (5), Finland (5), Norway (7), and Sweden (8) have NUTS 2 administrative regions which are not (e.g. as in the case of Iceland) equal to the national level (NUTS 0).
