The project aims at following-up, observing and documenting the efforts of joint Nordic export platforms in three markets: China, India and North America.
To promote Nordic solutions for sustainable, liveable and smart cities on a global level, Nordic Innovation has committed to develop an ambitious branding effort, to build a joint Nordic export platform and to establish political partnerships and networks.
The export efforts in the Chinese, Indian and North American markets are a promising opportunity to co-create knowledge about the potentials of Nordic companies undertaking joint efforts outside the Nordic Region.
In the project, Nordregio will perform systematic documentation of lessons learned from these experiences. It is expected to reveal the potential of Nordic actors undertaking joint initiatives to reach foreign markets. The outcome of this project will also provide useful insights for further initiatives which aim at promoting Nordic solutions to external markets.
