Looking at the Nordic Region as a whole there is a balance between foreign born males and females (101 males per 100 females). Greenland stands out as there are double as many foreign born male as foreign born females. In Norway there are also slightly more foreign born male (107 males per 100 females). In a comparison with the male/female ratio of the whole population it can be noted that foreign born females are overrepresented in the sparsely populated areas in northern and eastern parts of Finland where there is an overrepresentation of male if you look at the whole population.
