It has become clear for decision-makers at both the national and regional level that matching the right people with the right jobs and ensuring the right conditions for the development of necessary skills is an imperative action. Therefore, the REG LAB webinar on 18 March will focus on regional ecosystems for competence development in the Nordic region.
Anna Lundgren, Senior Researcher at Nordregio, will present the results of a new report, “Skills Policies – Building Capacities for Innovative and Resilient Nordic Regions”, that examines how the Nordic Region responds to competence challenges.
The Danish case, which focuses on creating closer collaboration between education providers and employers and attracting international talent, will also be discussed.
