Climate change adaption for sustainable urban development (ClimUrban)

The ClimUrban project (Climate change adaption for sustainable urban development) is a seed money project leading towards a project application to the new INTERREG Programme period 2014-2020 or other clients.

The project addresses urban and regional development by a close cooperation between land-use planners and natural scientist to jointly identify financially reasonable and effective climate change adaptation measures at an early stage.

The goal of the main project is to support cities in the Baltic Sea Region to develop appropriate climate change adaptation strategies – and potentially see towards their implementation. The main project shall include cross-border cooperation and experience exchange as a key element to find good practices, synergy potential and develop common approaches.
